I have attached a copy of the most recently published  International Recommended Guidelines of the Endocrine Society (US-based) and collective of European Medical Societies dealing with the Aging Male and Urology for using testosterone in late-onset hypogonadal men which he is most likely unaware of. These were assembled by the most senior people worldwide in the field, including urologists.

This type of comment is very typical of a physician who learnt about testosterone 20 or more years ago – the science has moved a long way forward since.

I’m happy to provide him with multiple medical papers if he wishes.

At the end of the day the proof is whether you (as a patient) are experiencing results. It is frustrating for many patients that they have to educate their physician about the correct treatment.

I have received your product. I am very pleased. Please forgive me for being skeptical about your product.

When I had health insurance, the Testim was almost completely covered. About $600 per month for two tubes per day. I lost my insurance so the cost was prohibitive.

Why is our (US) healthcare in such dire straights? This is a good example. The cost difference is substantial .

There is huge money involved, but I think our new president is trying to change the status quo. I have forwarded your info to my Doctor.

If our medicare program (65 and older) covers Testim, then we are spending millions of dollars un-necessiarly .

It's a bit strange, but our FDA approves some drugs with little,or no testing, but to get approval for another country I think can be quite difficult.

Thank you for your query.

In short the main difference is Testim® 1% gel is applied to the body (abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms) whereas Andromen Forte 5% cream is applied to the scrotum.

Scrotal skin is significantly more receptive to steroid absorption due to it’s high blood flow, thickness of the skin and low fat content. Testosterone cream applied to the scrotum achieves significantly higher testosterone blood levels than the equivalent amount of testosterone applied to other areas of the body. Because Testim® is alcohol based it cannot be applied scrotally due to the sensitivity of scrotal skin.

Blood levels should be checked after 30 days use. Usually we recommend 2 units (50mg) of Andromen® Forte 5% testosterone cream daily as a starting dose to achieve best results then reduce if the 30 day blood tests indicate levels are on the higher side. In terms of the number of mg of testosterone being used it is the same as 1 tube of Testim® (50mg) testosterone dose, however due to the better absorption from the scrotum your serum testosterone levels should equate to the same as if you were using two tubes of Testim®.

I have attached the Andromen® Forte Prescribing Information, CMI and a patient information booklet which details the above.

Using a 2 units (1g of cream equivalent to 50mg testosterone) daily dose of Andromen® Forte 5% testosterone cream there are 50 doses (50 days) supply in each tube.

Thank you for your email.  Freezing will not degrade the testosterone, but may cause the preservatives to seed out of the cream base.

Let the tube thaw at room temperature. As long as the consistency of the cream is uniform with no gritty bits there will be no problems with the integrity of the product. If there is any grittiness then I would suggest you order a replacement tube as the gritiness can be harsh on sensitive scrotal skin and the testosterone absorption may be variable compared to the original product.

This is great, thank you.

My Dr thinks this is the best way to take replacement testosterone. The shots hurt and the 5 gm of gel was just gross. That is 5x the amount I have to take with yours and it is slathered on my sholders. It made me breakout (not from the testosterone--i know that can, but from the gel clogging my pores.

I was taking 1/2 doses and that is probally too little....although my blood level was almost the same as with the 5gm of gel. With 3/4 of a dose or a dose 1 1/2 or 2 units, I am sure my levels will equal the 5 gm of gel of 250/mg of test eth.

Thank you. I just ordered 2 more rubes (about a 3 month supply) as my Dr said to use this for the next six months and see how it works.

He is now reccomending your product for his patients. Of course, in the us we need an RX, bit once that is obtained it is compleatly to inport a 3 month supply (2 tubes or so).

Thank you for your email.  Our principal Pharmacist is due back in the office Friday and will be able to give you a more detailed response in regards to your particular dosage.  I can give you the following information in the interim which may be of assistance to you.

The testosterone is pure testosterone - the others are what are called esters of testosterone and are used because they are injected and break down slowly to release the testosterone or are absorbed (albeit poorly) if taken orally.

Andromen Forte contains the testosterone identical to that produced by the testes.

You need to have periodic blood testing to check on your testosterone levels - usually 1 month after starting then 6 monthly.

Usually we recommend 2 units (50mg) of Andromen® Forte testosterone cream daily as a starting dose to achieve best results then reduce if the 30 day blood tests indicate levels are on the higher side.

Using a 2 units (1g of cream equivalent to 50mg testosterone) daily dose of Andromen® Forte 5% testosterone cream there are 50 doses (50 days) supply in each tube. The 2 units is as dispensed (squeezed) from the tube - like toothpaste on a toothbrush. We will be changing to a more accurate measurement system later in 2009. There are 50 2 unit doses in each tube - ie a tube will last 50 days.

I will also attach an information booklet, CMI and PI for your information.

Happy New Year!

I am giving you feedback on the positive results I have expereienced after only 2-3 cycles using Profemme.

I feel it has made a big difference and has taken over balancing my hormonal system in a more positive way then even Ralovera.

Physically, I am feeling much better, less tired drained esp around week 3 & 4 of cycle. My mind seems more focussed.

Your symptoms and medical history typifies progesterone deficiency.

Ralovera / Provera are synthetic analogues of progesterone with a much narrower spectrum of action. They are principally given in combination with oestrogen to prevent over stimulation of the uterine lining by the oestrogen.

also, i am using the injectable HGH, and i take thyroid; just added that in case that information may change any of your suggestions. i have a couple more refills for the thyroid, i take 150MG's per day .....

i have noticed since i used the testosterone today, i needed less progesterone, and did not need some of my other supplements, i must have been compensating for the lower strength testosterone.

i will be needing to order some more thyroid in probably 6 months or so .... but if you have any thoughts on that, and/or know of anywhere i would be able to order some, when my prescription runs out .... i would appreciate your input.

The progesterone 10% cream works out more economical - I would use 0.75 of a unit once daily, because it is better absorbed than most compounded products. You can use it twice dialy if you feel it is necessary however I would recommend starting with the once daily regime initially and evaluate your response. I would stick to 25 days with 5-6 break to prevent dulling of the progesterone receptors - if the 5 days break causes problems then by all means use it on those days, however with most people the break does not create a problem.

With the estradiol cream this is probably 3-4 months off availability. We send out a quarterly newsletter to all users and I will have news of it’s availability in the issue after next (due out November).

Hi Mr. Buckley, just wanted to update you on the testosterone creme I ordered.

First, in response to your last e mail, yes I have my physicians thumbs up for use.

I had bloodwork done 2 months ago and everything was fine. My cholesterol was ever so slightly high, but no cause for alarm since I exercise regularly and follow a healthy diet full of whole grains and fruit.

Your product works fairly well-I have noticed an increase of energy and a slight increase of libido. In that same blood test, my total testosterone was measured at 207 ng/dl.  According to my doctor, the normal range is between 350 and 1000.

I'd be very curious as to what the level would be now; and I do plan on getting bloodwork done early next month to make sure everything is normal and no adverse reactions have taken place.

Thanks again for a great product.  I will definitely be ordering more from you in a couple of months. You have a loyal customer for life and please pass my thanks on to your team!!

The measuring device is like a small plastic ruler. I will ship you out one immediately - I apologize for it's absence.

It is used only as a guide and you can start using Andro-Feme immediately if you wish - just squeeze out 2cm of cream - just as if you were putting toothpaste on a toothbrush.

This is the usual starting dose and then it is reviewed in 3 weeks. If you are concerned about the dose be conservative and use 1 cm daily - blood levels increase to a lesser degree but it still works well.

What you have described is not unusual. The fact the PMS symptoms reduced significantly within the first month of use is a good sign.

I’d start on day 12 (this Wednesday) using 2cm/day until day 26 as last month. Having skipped a period is nothing to worry about. You may find that the period comes within a few days of re-starting the Pro-Feme. If this happens stop using the cream – the first day of bleeding will be your new day 1. If it’s only spotting continue with the cream and it will most likely stop in a few days. What is happening is that your cycle is re-adjusting itself with the introduction of the progesterone.

If no period comes after day 26 I suggest you move to a 3 week use, 1 week break regieme.

When progesterone is introduced to an estrogen dominant system the progesterone will  occasionally exacerbate the very symptoms it is trying to eradicate. This happens because progesterone sensitizes estrogen receptors in the body to the effects of estrogen and vice versa. You have been estrogen dominant for some time and now introducing P has caused your E receptors to become more responsive to the circulating E in your body. This is why the estrogen dominant symptoms have been enhanced. It is a difficult concept to comprehend but not uncommon in endocrinology. As I said last night experience shows that the way to manage this is lower the dose. Things usually subside after a week or 10 days.

I would highly recommend you get hold of the book What your doctor may not tell you about Menopause by Dr John Lee MD – this concept is explained in detail – I deal with Dr Lee extensively when he was alive. Most bookstores have it. Also please view our website http://www.hormonesolutions.com.au/content/natural-progesterone-cream-for-women.php that deals with progesterone cream.

I hope this helps and I understand it’s tough to persevere when you have to live with these effects, but as I said last night this is a good sign and just needs a dose adjustment.

Yes, I guess I assumed that because they were both creams that they would both be absorbed the same way :).

The Pro-Feme is definitely working - I can tell already, because if it wasn't working I would get the soaking wet night sweats and other symptoms back within 2-3 days and I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. I am being treated for estrogen dominance / peri-menopause.

I am using the same dosage of the 10% (maybe even a little less) as I was the 5%. I measure it out via a plastic plunger type tool (I don't know what it's called) but it's provided by the pharmacist with the 5%. I am very good about using the exact amount, I don't like to use more "medication" than I need.

I am so glad you are developing these products. It's very hard here in the US to find doctors that recognize the importance of hormone replacement. All they say is that it causes cancer; they obviously don't stay on top of current research and studies - and impose their own "personal opinion" on you as a patient. I had to go through about 5 different doctors (and suffered for over 2 years) before I finally found a doctor that agreed and treated via HRT - and that was WITH supporting blood tests. Meanwhile many women, like myself, are suffering for long periods of time, for no reason at all.

Thank-you for your work! I will definitely be recommending your product to my other girlfriends if and when they need it.
Any other advice or suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your email. I understand your concerns, however please understand that a pharmaceutical quality cream and a compounded product are formulated differently and are most likely have different degrees of absorption. Twice the strength may not immediately translate to twice the effect in half the time. I believe the relaxation of the muscle effect you previously felt may not have been related to progesterone but rather another excipient in the compounded cream. I continually get similar feedback however you stated the reason for your change from the compounded product was not "quite enough" progesterone - hence absorption if increasing dose is not working. I can guarantee Pro-Feme has greater overall absorption than virtually all compounded products, but full effects of Pro-Feme are not usually gained for 4-6 weeks after commencing treatment because of Pro-Feme's unique pharmacokinetics (absorption characteristics).

How much of the 10% are you using and for what condition? This is important considerations. Please provide me with this info and I can best advise you.

Thanks for your response - I guess that unlike in Australia where customer service still exist, in the US our credit card companies don't care if a customer complains loudly or not.

The only reason I mention any of this, is the stark contrast between your customer service and CITI -  Your company would not make it here in the US - What gall you have providing quality products at reasonable prices - shipping amazingly fast and rapid responses to customer enquiries, currently these are becoming crimes in the US.  I hope you don't adopt the US model and continue with your current top shelf customer service, as I'm sure is your plan.

I’m a 48 year old male.  I’ve been complaining of Tiredness (but bad sleep), lack of energy/motivation, mental fogginess & low mood for 12 years.  I only recently can across the notion of Low Testosterone.  I have never suffered low libido or erectile issues, but asked my GP for a test.

My Serum T was  8.6 nmol/L.  my GP says that’s “normal”, but my studies, including videos of Dr Malcolm Carruthers, suggest otherwise.

I’ve been reading your website, but I am unable to find detailed information.  Can you please tell me :

1)  How much Testosterone is actually delivered into the bloodstream per application?

70% of the testosterone dose used when applied scrotally. Serum testosterone levels will return to baseline (pre-treatment levels) within 72 hours of ceasing treatment.

2)  If I am currently at  8.6 nmol/L, will this cream get me to a desired level of  20 nmol/L?

Yes, a dose of 50mg (1gram or 2 units using the measuring applicator) applied scrotally once daily will usually achieve a steady-state serum testosterone levels in the low 20 nmol/L range within 3-4 weeks of use.

3)  Are there any dangers of my Testosterone level going too high?  IE, over 30nmol (or whatever dangerously high levels are).

Generally not if the recommended dose is adhered to. There is some individual absorption variation, but generally plus 30 nmol/L measurements are only achieved with higher doses or increased frequency of use (twice or three times daily - not recommended). We normally suggest serum blood levels are taken after 1 month of treatment.

There are no bio-identical injectable forms of testosterone – the only forms of injectable testosterone are esters (eg proprionate, deconoate, cyprionate) which by their nature slowly break down into the metabolites of testosterone plus the neutral ester. The problem with injectables is they are often uncomfortable (sometime spainful) to receive and they exhibit a “peak and trough” effect rather than a steady-state effect as is achieved with transdermal preparations. I believe at the ultrasound clinic they said that there were approximately three fibroids between 2-4cm. To me that sounds rather large, but noone has really explained what this means. Not that big but estrogen dominance will cause them to continue to grow.

Yes, I have attempted only one cycle of IVF unsuccessfully. I am about to commence another in a few weeks and wasn't sure if I can continue with the cream at the same time Absolutely it’s safe, however if you are spending the $$ doing the IVF you would be best to advise the clinic of your intentions. . To be honest, I am not sure about asking the doctor about the cream, as last time I asked a GP he wasn't at all enthusiastic and dismissed the idea (I think from ignorance more than anything else as he wasn't aware of the product or its applicability) I’m sure you are right.. You mention that 10% cream is required instead of the 3.5%. Is this what is recommended for IVF patients? Following egg collection I was given progesterone pessaries, so can I still use the cream during the IVF cycle? Yes it will add top the effects of the pessaries. I believe I had very good progesterone levels at the time (100>)however it just wasn't successful for whatever reason. I have no history of miscarriage, have never been pregnant and I guess compared to many who have had repeated cycles of IVF we are novices when it comes to it all. The pessaries provide a short term progesterone high, but when stopped the progesterone does not remain residual in the body. I believe you are overall progesterone deficient (the fibroids are testament to this) and you need to “load” you system (every cell in your body) with the adequate progesterone. I believe your best chances of successful IVF treatment is to load progesterone into your system over the next 3 months (minimum) to 6 months then start the IVF if you haven’t already fallen pregnant.

My menstral cycle has been very light and short (2 days at most) for many years now, so, it kind of goes against all the symptoms from what I understand of fibroids (heavy bleading). Heavy bleeding with fibroids doesn’t necessarily follow until they become bigger. Plenty of women have fibroids (small ones) and don’t show any symptoms. When I raise this issue with doctors, they don't appear to think it is relevant, however, I assumed that having a decent lining of the uterus would be very important to conception 100% correct , but then again, I am not a doctor, so I am only guessing. To be honest, we didn't know which doctor to approach re IVF so it has all been a case of just having a go with someone in the hope that we get advice and assistance from someone we can trust. I have also read different postings on the internet about different clinics and doctors. It can sometimes feel that perhaps you shouldn't ask too many questions of a doctor because after all "they are the experts", not us garbage – it’s your body and you’re paying them – ask every question you have and if they don’t give you a sensible answer tell them you don’t understand and explain it again. The science is not that difficult to explain. I'm sure it is just because they are just so busy, but I feel it is important for us to understand all variables that may impact upon or prevent a potential pregnancy and to at least consider anything that may assist towards achieving a pregnancy. I’ve dealt with plenty of women who have been through the IVF mill and spent many many tens of thousands of dollars with no success and then fallen pregnant and carried full term using natural progesterone purely because the progesterone increases their fertility. I’m not for a minute suggesting progesterone is the cure for all fertility ills because quality of eggs and many other factors come into it, however your clinic would have checked sperm and egg quality, your uterine lining and fallopian tubes etc prior to the first procedure. If you’re not in a mad rush I’d address your progesterone levels first before the next treatment round – at least this way you will have eliminated one variable.

Hope this helps rather than confuses.

i explained to you that i was using 1MG/1GM bioidentical testosterone cream, and you said it was light..... well you were so right... i received yours today, and applied it, and i could feel the difference right away. thank you for making that product.

i am also using bioidentical Progesterone.... 5% cream and bioidentical Estradiol/Progesterone .5MG/200MG cream.

i will be eventually ordering your Progesterone, as i run out of mine....

do you recommend your 10% Progesterone cream or your 3.2%?

my doctor, who is in the process of retiring said i could use the Progesterone for 25 days on and 5 or so days off..... or i could use it every day.

i choose to use it every day, i need it at least 2 times a day.... sometimes more, i can feel when i need it.... i also do kinesiology, and i muscle test it to get the right dosage.

i am in full menopause, and do not get my period any more.....

what would you recommend? i noticed in your literature, you recommend it for 25 days on?

also, when will your Estradiol be available?

i have plenty of refills left on both the Progesterone and the Estradiol/Progesterone.... but i can tell your products superior, so i would like to order them.

The progesterone 10% cream works out more economical - I would use 0.75 of a unit once daily, because it is better absorbed than most compounded products. You can use it twice dialy if you feel it is necessary however I would recommend starting with the once daily regime initially and evaluate your response. I would stick to 25 days with 5-6 break to prevent dulling of the progesterone receptors - if the 5 days break causes problems then by all means use it on those days, however with most people the break does not create a problem.

With the estradiol cream this is probably 3-4 months off availability. We send out a quarterly newsletter to all users and I will have news of it’s availability in the issue after next (due out November).

I was curious to know if the progestrone cream would increase testosterone
by having the body produce more testosterone. Thank you for clearing that up
for me.

I am applying Andromen Forte 5% directly to my scrotum at a dose of "2" on
the applicator. Which I think is the maximum dose recommended. And rubbing
in throughly until most all of the white color disappears.

I first apply the Andromen right after my shower, then shave, brush my teeth
and apply body lotion all over. Which is about 15 minutes after the Andromen
application. Is that too soon to apply the body lotion to my scrotum?

I would like to say I feel much better after using Andromen 5% for about a
month now. My mood is better, more energy, more confident, no night sweats
and all the other symptoms of low testosterone are very much gone. Will I
notice more results the longer I'm on Andromen 5%?

ProFeme progesterone cream will NOT increase testosterone levels whether
used on its own or in combination with Andromen Forte 5% testosterone cream.
 
Are you using Andromen Forte scrotally or on the body? Your question about
the body lotion makes me think you are using it on the upper body, whereas
Andromen Forte is much better absorbed and you get better testosterone
levels if the cream is applied scrotally.
 
You can use body lotion an hour after application of Andromen Forte no
matter where you are applying it.

I would strongly suggest scrotal application to increase testosterone levels
if you are currently using it on the upper body. What dose are your using?

  1. What are your testosterone creams for men made from?    The active testosterone is synthesized from soya as the raw starting material. There is however no soya in the finished product – just pure testosterone. Please read the attached bookletTestosterone for men where this is fully explained. Also attached is the PI and CMI which lists every ingredient.
  2. Are the doses at the level of prescription testosterone, or are they so-called “homeopathic” doses?    The doses are prescription level testosterone. Our product is NOT a homeopathic product.
  3. I’ve used testosterone in the past and always needed a doctor’s prescription. How are you able to sell it online without a prescription?      Our product is not approved by the FDA and is therefore not available from pharmacies within the USA. We are an Australian based company and manufacture in Australia. Australia’s equivalent of the US FDA, the TGA has approved our product for Export and there are provisions with the FDA Regulations for the personal importation of unregistered therapeutic goods .   5. My cream was a balance of testosterone and progesterone, which helps prevent the testosterone from being converted to estrogen. Do you have such a product?      Testosterone from Andromen Forte conversion to estrogen is in practical terms not an issue. There is a small but insignificant rise in estrogen levels with initial use of scrotal testosterone, however in the vast majority of men this rise is within the normal estrogen range for men. We have seen no evidence of gynecomastia (due to estrogen dominance) in men using Andromen Forte. There is no need to take anti estrogens. Have the estrogen levels checked every 6-12 months if concerned. Some Dr’s in the US get patients to take anti-estrogens such as chrysin however I believe this is unwarranted when using Andromen Forte if properly monitored.
  6. How many milligrams of testosterone is contained in each application of each of the two different creams?     Normallly we recommend Andromen Forte 5% cream as the most economical option for men. The Andromen 2% works as well but the 5% is more cost effective. Normal starting dose is 50mg applied scrotally once daily and levels reviewed after one month. Dose can be titrated downwards to as low as 20mg daily depending upon blood levels and whether symptoms return. I strongly recommend you continue to work with you doctor for monitoring.

  1. What are your testosterone creams for men made from?    The active testosterone is synthesized from soya as the raw starting material. There is however no soya in the finished product – just pure testosterone. Please read the attached bookletTestosterone for men where this is fully explained. Also attached is the PI and CMI which lists every ingredient.
  2. Are the doses at the level of prescription testosterone, or are they so-called “homeopathic” doses?    The doses are prescription level testosterone. Our product is NOT a homeopathic product.
  3. I’ve used testosterone in the past and always needed a doctor’s prescription. How are you able to sell it online without a prescription?      Our product is not approved by the FDA and is therefore not available from pharmacies within the USA. We are an Australian based company and manufacture in Australia. Australia’s equivalent of the US FDA, the TGA has approved our product for Export and there are provisions with the FDA Regulations for the personal importation of unregistered therapeutic goods .   4. Where is the cream made?     Australia at a TGA approved pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Perth, Western Australa. It meets all the production requirements of a Big Pharma product
  5. My cream was a balance of testosterone and progesterone, which helps prevent the testosterone from being converted to estrogen. Do you have such a product?      Testosterone from Andromen Forte conversion to estrogen is in practical terms not an issue. There is a small but insignificant rise in estrogen levels with initial use of scrotal testosterone, however in the vast majority of men this rise is within the normal estrogen range for men. We have seen no evidence of gynecomastia (due to estrogen dominance) in men using Andromen Forte. There is no need to take anti estrogens. Have the estrogen levels checked every 6-12 months if concerned. Some Dr’s in the US get patients to take anti-estrogens such as chrysin however I believe this is unwarranted when using Andromen Forte if properly monitored.
  6. How many milligrams of testosterone is contained in each application of each of the two different creams?     Normallly we recommend Andromen Forte 5% cream as the most economical option for men. The Andromen 2% works as well but the 5% is more cost effective. Normal starting dose is 50mg applied scrotally once daily and levels reviewed after one month. Dose can be titrated downwards to as low as 20mg daily depending upon blood levels and whether symptoms return. I strongly recommend you continue to work with you doctor for monitoring.

As of now I have been applying AndroForte5 at a higher dosage of .75ml. for three months.  I am definitely experiencing great improvements.  The greater of the improvements recently kicked in after this 3 month period.  I went to my doctor today to order another blood test to check the results, and tomorrow I will take the test (getting the results in a week).  Although my doctor gave the blood test order, he said something that I find very confusing.  I am hoping you can clear this up.  My doctor politely claims that he is against Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).  He says I should see a Urologist, and cure the reason for my very low free testosterone, rather than taking testosterone to "cover-up" the problem.  I find this confusing because in my research, I have not discovered that there is a cure for this problem, and that the cure is TRT.   This doctor is not a Urologist, and I am believing he may be lacking education in this field.  What do you know???

With all due respect to your doctor he is mistaken in his understanding of testosterone deficiency.

I have attached a copy of the most recently published  International Recommended Guidelines of the Endocrine Society (US-based) and collective of European Medical Societies dealing with the Aging Male and Urology for using testosterone in late-onset hypogonadal men which he is most likely unaware of. These were assembled by the most senior people worldwide in the field, including urologists.

This type of comment is very typical of a physician who learnt about testosterone 20 or more years ago – the science has moved a long way forward since.

I’m happy to provide him with multiple medical papers if he wishes.

At the end of the day the proof is whether you (as a patient) are experiencing results. It is frustrating for many patients that they have to educate their physician about the correct treatment.

Since the start of 2011 the USA Dept. of Homeland Security has introduced increased scrutiny of international parcel shipments. Each and every package entering the USA is now being x-rayed. This has dramatically slowed the transit process by up to a week before the items get to US Customs. As a consequence the USPS website does not update until the item arrives at US Customs and then the usual 7-10 day processing, transit and delivery time applies.  It now means that your item may take as long as 18-20 days to arrive from the time it has left Australia. We are sure you can appreciate that these are matters over which we have no control and hope these “teething problems” with the new security measures are sorted quickly. Items shipped on 19 Jan are just being entered into the system now. I would expect yours to be in the system before the end of the week.

I'm a post menopausal early sixties female in England. Six years ago, I was prescribed testosterone implants alongside HRT to help with very early signs of thinning bones and a complete lack of libido. Within a few months, my libido had returned and a year later, a bone density scan revealed no further deterioration in my bones. (They have since actually mproved.)  All was well and good, although I did find the implant a little intrusive and somewhat committed without choice during the lifespan of the pellet, with its slightly uneven rise and fall (for me, anyway) and on two occasions, not being well absorbed into the bloodstream. However, the benefits far outweighed any minor issues and I enjoyed the positve effects though always curious in alternatives.

I'm Maxxxxx, 60 years old, from Leicester in England and am using your product AndroFeme which I'm finding the most appropriate and most successful means of supplementing a medically diagnosed testosterone deficiency.
 
I was prescribed testosterone implants on our NHS some 4 years ago, alongside HRT for early signs of osteoporosis and zero libido. This offered me a huge boost in wellbeing and libido and halted, before increasing bone density. However, the powers that be decided to no longer make this available on the NHS owing to lack of evidence for its benefits. Because I had witnessed for myself - backed by my husband! - very beneficial improvements, I decided to go privately at considerable expense although worth it.
 
However, my last implant last August didn't seem to work. This has happened before, almost as if my body wants to reject the implant but instead builds a protective layer of anti-bodies around the pellet leaving the lump in situ instead of diminishing. (This is my own non-medical interpretation!)There was no boost in libido or general wellbeing, and because inserting a pellet is a slight physical trauma, almost an assault on delicate abdominal tissue, I have been researching alternatives.
 
This where I came on your site and ordered a tube of AndroFeme 1. Because I already had a testosterone implant, albeit a seemingly ineffective one, I was very cautious and dabbled tiny amounts onto my forearm. After a few weeks, I felt there was a boost and have since continued applying a very modest amount daily. And I feel great!!! I LOVE the cream; I feel I can take control and monitor my own application accordingly although with moderation and common sense as paramount.
 
The testosterone pellet is still there, hard and round, a definite lump. It's hard for me to find appropriate advice here as a private consultation is so expensive and the NHS won't be interested as I'm being trearted privately. I cannot possibly expect you to offer guidance other than to tell me to have appropriate blood tests but is having a 'dormant' pellet PLUS adding small amounts of your cream dangerous? I have no side effects such as facial hair, deepening voice or enlarged clitoris, but am certainly enjoying the benefits - however I AM worried about the pellet. Still there.
 
Many thanks for your kind attention. I want to be able to use your cream continuously somehow and will try and find some means of monitoring benefits safely but any advice would be enormously appreciated.

Many thanks for your email.

Pellets extrude (rise to the surface and are rejected) in 10% of patients, however your experience appears to be a bit different. If you can feel the pellet it sounds as if it has partially extruded. If it is close to the skin surface can you get your doctor to make an incision to remove the pellet?

To see if the pellet is releasing any T you can stop using the cream for 5 days and then get blood tested, because T from the cream is out of the system within 72 hrs. Any residual is T from the pellet.

Please have your free testosterone measured for the most accurate assessment of testosterone status (see attached booklet).

Please do not hesitate to contact me once you have Free T results.

Thanks for your response - I guess that unlike in Australia where customer service still exist, in the US our credit card companies don't care if a customer complains loudly or not.

I included the response from CITI - after receiving this, I also called and basically was told that - that's the way it is - so take it or use another card. (and I will in the future).  This is a card that I use for business and on average put 150,000+ on annually. 

The only reason I mention any of this, is the stark contrast between your customer service and CITI -  Your company would not make it here in the US - What gall you have providing quality products at reasonable prices - shipping amazingly fast and rapid responses to customer enquiries, currently these are becoming crimes in the US.  I hope you don't adopt the US model and continue with your current top shelf customer service, as I'm sure is your plan.

We charge in US $ and only get credited with the amount displayed. If you have been charged an additional fee that will have come from your credit card issuer and is not an exchange rate conversion. I would take the matter up with them and they may reverse this fee – if US banks are like Australia banks they’ll back down on fees if the customer complains loud enough. We occasionally get this question, however from my understanding most financial institutions in the US do not add any extra on.

Thank you for letting me know. No worries. Just wanted to make sure nothing had been purchased without my knowledge. 

Thank you again for proving such a good product and service. Perhaps you could pass on to Michael that I am having very positive results on the cream now. I have had to up the dosage a bit, when I did this I suddenly started seeing results in the libido, sexual function and energy department. I have a theory bodybuilders and people who regularly weight train may require a slightly higher dose as more testosterone will spend time (trapped) inside the androgen receptor complex in skeletal muscle tissue which become primed after weight training.

Anyway, I shall no doubt be ordering again soon, as a tube now only lasts me about 25-30 days. If I was to order 2-3 tubes in one go, would express shipping still cost $75 to the UK?
